Hebrew at the Center has launched the Pritzat Derech/Hebrew for All pilot to strengthen Hebrew instruction for students with language-based learning differences. This initiative brings together professionals from leading education organizations and is powered by joint support from the Mayberg Foundation, the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, the Lippman Kanfer Family Foundation, and The Covenant Foundation. Together, these partners are working to ensure that every Jewish day school student with language-based learning differences has the support they need to succeed on their Hebrew learning journeys.

Manette and Louis Mayberg joined Momentum for a weekend of meaningful events with supporters and community partners in Aspen. The trip featured a series of intimate gatherings designed to deepen relationships, spark new collaborations, and connect with donors and friends. The weekend also celebrated Momentum's new partnership with PJ Library—two organizations united by a mission to strengthen Jewish families and inspire the next generation.

IEJI—the Incubator for Emerging Jewish Initiatives—has introduced a new Organizational Assessment service to help Jewish nonprofits evaluate their strengths and identify opportunities for growth. Led by Program Director Dara Weinerman Steinberg, this collaborative process provides leaders with practical feedback and clear next steps, supporting organizations like Svivah as they plan for the future.

Mayberg Foundation professionals recently joined our partners at the Mayberg Center, a part of GW University’s Collaboratory, for a conference addressing how to strengthen public school teaching on Jewish history and identity. "The Great Diaspora: Visioning American Jewry at America’s 250th" conference brought together influential leaders, scholars, and changemakers shaping the trajectory of Jewish life in America. Mayberg Foundation Executive Director Todd Sukol was a featured panelist at the “Future Perfect: Priorities for a Decade of Renewal of American Jewry” session, where he shared what he believes should be the community's three priorities: the importance of Jewish unity (K’lal Yisrael), the central role of Torah, and the significance of G-d.

How do we keep our community both safe and welcoming? Last week Mayberg Foundation Executive Assistant and Office Coordinator Marni Darby took part in a hands-on security training with JShield, an initiative of our partners at The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. She and other organizational representatives learned real-world strategies to help protect our community events and the people who attend them. Since launching in March 2024, the Jewish Outreach professional development pilot program spearheaded by Mayberg Foundation Managing Director Amanda Mizrahi, has brought together leaders from M54, NCSY (a program of the Orthodox Union), AISH Jerusalem, and Olami to strengthen collaboration and shared impact across Jewish outreach organizations. As Shai Kopitnikoff, assistant director of talent development at the Orthodox Union, reflected, “Each of us may run our own ship, but we’re sailing toward the same goal.”

The Lookstein Center’s master class on Jewish spirituality, led earlier this year by Mayberg Foundation partner Rabbi David Aaron, has garnered significant attention and positive feedback from educators across the Jewish educational landscape.

STAMP, a Mayberg Foundation partner, recently released a comprehensive guide to the STa"M industry and STAMP's ongoing efforts for higher standards. The booklet, presented at the Rabbinical Council of America's (RCA) recent convention, offers an in-depth analysis of the factors that have contributed to challenges within the STa"M industry, outlines the rigorous standards required for the creation of STa"M articles, and details the significant criteria that have been overlooked in recent decades. Most importantly, it highlights the concrete steps STAMP is taking to address each of these concerns.
