  • The Mayberg Foundation seeks a Director of Operations, who should be guided by a strong sense of mission to play a critical strategic and coordinating role, overseeing the Foundation’s internal operations and ensuring alignment across key functional areas including finance, HR, IT, facilities, and compliance. This position leverages a team of trusted consultants and internal staff and focuses on systems, supervision, and alignment. The Director is expected to delegate effectively, use existing resources wisely, and drive continuous improvement and cross-functional coordination. As a leader in a mission driven organization, the Director should also be able to integrate the vision and values of the organization into decision making and contribute to a culture that reflects and advances the Foundation’s commitment to proliferating Jewish wisdom and values.

  • The Mayberg Foundation seeks a Trustee Engagement Officer (TEO) to be the central coordination hub between the Foundation’s President, Trustees and staff. The position reports to the Director of Operations. This is a full-time, in-office position.

    This role has three core areas of responsibility: Executive support to the President; trustee and rising trustee engagement, including discretionary giving and governance coordination; and coordination of the Foundation’s participation in external events and engagements.

    The TEO ensures that people, information, logistics, and follow-through are handled with precision, discretion, and professionalism—allowing leadership and trustees to engage effectively and represent the Foundation well.

    Salary range: $80,000-$100,000

  • The Program Officer leads the management of grantee relationships and oversees the foundation’s grantmaking process, from reviewing proposals to monitoring progress and reporting outcomes. Acting as the primary contact for nonprofit partners, this role ensures strong alignment between grantee work and the foundation’s mission, while also preparing materials and recommendations for board and committee review.

    The position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, experience with grant management, and the ability to work collaboratively within a small, learning-oriented team. Candidates should be eager to build partnerships, surface insights, and support meaningful and impactful philanthropy through thoughtful engagement and effective coordination.
