Manette and Louis Mayberg Join Momentum for Aspen Debut of PJ Library Partnership

Momentum brought its signature programming to Aspen this summer, with Manette Mayberg—Mayberg Foundation Trustee and President and Momentum Co-Founder—and Louis Mayberg—Mayberg Foundation Co-Founder and Trustee—joining a weekend of special events aimed at supporters and community partners. The trip, held from Friday, July 25 through Monday, July 28, featured a series of intimate gatherings designed to deepen relationships, spark new collaborations, and connect with donors and friends in Aspen’s relaxed summer atmosphere.

For years, Momentum maintained a strong presence in Aspen, cultivating connections with both individuals and organizations. This year’s itinerary included both Momentum-hosted programs and partner-led experiences, created in collaboration with groups such as Chabad of Aspen and PJ Library. A highlight of the weekend was the exclusive joint event with PJ Library on Sunday, “The Meaning Behind the Book”—a cocktail reception and thoughtful conversation about the stories families share with their children.

This summer’s programming marked the first formal partnership between Momentum and PJ Library, two organizations united by a mission to strengthen Jewish families and inspire the next generation. Over the past year, Momentum also expanded its work with local PJ Library communities across the country, helping more mothers participate in Momentum’s signature Journey of Growth, including the transformational trip to Israel. By coming together in Aspen, both organizations created new opportunities for Jewish mothers and families to connect and grow.

“The partnered evening illuminated the strong synergy between Momentum and PJ Library: shared demographic audience; same emphasis on conveying Jewish values, Jewish identity and providing connection; and global impact on families,” said Manette. “We see a heightened interest in collaboration and are excited to realize more partnership opportunities.
