Mayberg Foundation Hosts Exploratory Discussions on New Ways to Elevate Jewish Education

Rabbi Yehuda Chanales, director of Lifnai Vlifnim Olami, visited the Mayberg Foundation offices last week for an exploratory conversation on what the future holds for Jewish day school education in North America. During the meeting, Rabbi Chanales highlighted Lifnai Vlifnim's recent progress, noting their presence in 25 schools across North America, as well as partnerships in several other countries — thanks to support from Mayberg Foundation.

The discussion also turned to a new initiative spearheaded by EdTech consultant Jeremy Snepar—a tech platform built to help Jewish day schools find, train, and keep talented Jewish educators. The group addressed the pressing need for teachers who understand the value of God-centered, student-centered learning in order to inspire students’ relationship with God. "We don't want to just attract warm bodies, but warm hearts to teach our students," said Mayberg Foundation Executive Director Todd Sukol.
