Berman Hebrew Academy Kicks Off Chanukah with Sephardic Beit Midrash Dedication
/
Our partners at Berman Hebrew Academy hosted a dedication ceremony on the first day of Chanukah for their new Hooshang Zaghi z״l Sephardic Beit Midrash. The school's vibrant and growing Sephardic community now has an enhanced home, with dedicated rabbinic leadership and education where all students—Sephardi and Ashkenazi—can learn and experience Sephardic traditions together.
Among the Beit Midrash sponsors are Amanda Mizrahi, who serves as the Mayberg Foundation’s managing director, and her husband, Jonathan. Their generosity—along with that of the other supporters—not only brings the Beit Midrash to life, but also sets a powerful example of collective effort and the importance of foundational Judaism for their children.
