Rising Trustee David Mayberg Represents Federation at National Young Leadership Cabinet (YLC) Retreat

Rising Trustee David Mayberg joined 300 Jewish leaders from across North America for the Jewish Federations of North America National Young Leadership Cabinet (YLC) Retreat in Minneapolis two weeks ago. He was one of 20 delegates from the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington's Cabinet cohort, whose members work to build the relationships and skills that strengthen Jewish life here at home and around the world.

Over three days, David and fellow Cabinet members heard from speakers including Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and took part in sessions on philanthropy, security, Israel and global Jewry, and bridging differences in conversation. Reflecting on the experience, David said: "YLC brings together the most engaged, promising and thoughtful emerging Jewish leaders from across the country. What I saw at the conference are people looking for meaningful ways to connect with Judaism through service, leadership and activism. It was inspiring to be surrounded by people who are so motivated to make a difference, and the friendships I've already made have been incredibly valuable."
