Staff Reminder: HSA Accounts Moving to HealthEquity on September 1, 2026
/The Mayberg Foundation’s CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield benefit accounts (HSA) will transition from Further to the HealthEquity portal on September 1, 2026. In the weeks leading up to the switch, watch your mail for a Welcome Letter with first-time login instructions and a new HealthEquity Visa® Card.
Please note that there will be a short "blackout period" from August 22–September 1, during which you won't be able to use your CareFirst-branded debit card, submit claims, access funds, or make investment changes — though HSA members can still make post-tax contributions on the HealthEquity portal during this time if they need fund access. Any claims or expenses incurred during the blackout can be submitted once your HealthEquity account goes live.
