Streamlining Success: Mayberg Foundation Launches Partner-Focused Database Transition

The Mayberg Foundation’s grantmaking team is excited to announce a major upgrade to its operations: an imminent transition to a new grantmaking database. This new system is more than a data repository; it is a powerful relationship-building tool that will make coordinating, analyzing, and managing grants more efficient. And that means providing faster, clearer, and more efficient service for our partners and applicants.

"The new database will help us communicate more clearly and frequently with our grantees and should allow them better transparency into our process,” said Managing Director Amanda Mizrahi. Amanda is leading this effort with Grants Manager Aggie Grossman and Data Consultant Kim Brumer, who are all committed to ensuring a smooth and thoughtful transition. “We are always looking to improve our processes and make sure we are doing the best work we can internally for our external partners,” said Aggie.

During this transition, the grantmaking team will operate both the old and new database platforms concurrently. Since change can bring questions and occasional challenges, the grantmaking team will proactively communicate with our partners to address potential issues and transparently address any hiccups as they arise. “Our primary goal is to be able to provide clear answers to our board, our staff and our grantees for every step of the grantmaking process,” Amanda said.
