Mayberg Foundation Welcomes Naftali Ejdelman as Senior Program Officer to Manage Jewish Education and Israel Advocacy Grantmaking and Partnerships
/The Mayberg Foundation is excited to welcome Naftali Ejdelman to our grantmaking team as senior program officer. Naftali will manage grantmaking portfolios with a focus on Jewish education and Israel advocacy—areas central to the Foundation’s commitment to proliferating authentic Jewish wisdom and supporting a strong Jewish state. His role will also include organizing grantmaking committees composed of trustees and/or advisory groups.
Naftali is a philanthropic advisor specializing in Jewish life and education who brings a deep understanding of the diversity of Klal Yisrael and a wealth of experience partnering with educational and communal organizations across the Jewish spectrum. His background spans denominational, generational, and geographic settings, including roles at Maimonides Fund, Beit Rabban Day School, and Adamah. He has also founded educational ventures serving children, college students, and adults.
Fluent in Yiddish and Hebrew, Naftali holds a master’s degree in Judaic studies and education from Brandeis University. He sees every setback as a potential opportunity and is optimistic about the future of Jewish life in North America and Israel.
