OpenDor Media Reaches Young Jews Through Growing Network of Jewish Voices Online

The Mayberg Foundation's longstanding partnership with OpenDor Media (ODM)—dating back to 2011 when the Mayberg Foundation supported Jerusalem U's early pro-Israel content and classroom resources—continues to evolve alongside ODM's mission to meet young Jews where they are. What began with annual grants from the foundation for Israel-focused education has grown through key milestones: Jerusalem U's 2020 rebrand to ODM, to post-October 7 emergency response content to counter anti-Israel propaganda, and then support to develop Jewish content through a collaboration with the Jewish Education Innovation Challenge (JEIC) on a Jewish spirituality video series. The foundation has now made a new three-year grant fueling expanded Jewish content through ODM’s new division, Judaism Unpacked.

Mayberg Foundation Managing Director Amanda Mizrahi and Director of Marketing and Communications Rina Schiff recently attended an ODM partner briefing to learn more about yet another ODM division, Amplified. Amplified empowers 66 authentic content creators spanning antisemitism advocacy, allied voices, Israel/Zionism, history and culture, and Jewish spirituality. Led by former MTV executive Lauren Forman, Amplified provides strategic guidance, production support, and peer community, driving 94M+ engagements as Jewish creators like Tal Oran, AKA thetravelingclatt (increasing from 1,900 to 205K Instagram followers), as well as Arab and Christian allies like Gaza-born activist Hamza Howidy, scale their impact.

ODM Executive Vice President Dr. Noam Weissman shared testimonials from creators like Howidy—“Before Amplified, I never considered being an activist on Instagram. Now I'm an activist”—and Jewish educator Netta Asner, who called it “such a gift” for clarifying her mission and sparking collaborations that bring students to her courses.

Looking ahead, ODM's ISRAEL21c acquisition and Digital Ambassadors program (launched in August 2025 with 29 students) will feed Amplified's expansion, including the Covenant Alliance to reach Christian conservatives. ODM has an ambitious goal of expanding Amplified from 130 members and 8 million total reach in 2026 to 202 members and 15 million total reach by 2028.

“We are very proud of what our decade-plus partnership with OpenDor Media has achieved,” said Mayberg Foundation Managing Director Amanda Mizrahi. “Their explosive growth shows what happens when you take bold philanthropic risks together—advancing our shared mission of connecting Jews around the world through authentic Jewish content.”
