Mayberg Foundation's Amanda Mizrahi, Rachel Mohl Abrahams Selected to Present at Annual JFN Conference
/Mayberg Foundation Managing Director Amanda Mizrahi and Senior Advisor for Education Grants and Programs Rachel Mohl Abrahams have been selected to present at JFN’s 2026 International Conference, the premier gathering of Jewish funders and philanthropic professionals worldwide. Taking place in San Diego this March, the conference brings together leading voices in the field to explore the power of networks, share tools for effective giving, and engage in meaningful conversations about the most pressing issues facing the Jewish philanthropic community.
Amanda’s session, “Leading from the Middle: The Role of Influence with Living Donors,” co-presented with The Zalik Foundation Executive Director Amanda Abrams, will focus on practical strategies for leading from the “middle space” without formal authority, drawing on models of distributed leadership from the Torah. Rachel’s presentation, “The Network Advantage: Funding Strategies That Transform Fields,” co-presented with Jim Joseph Foundation Senior Program Officer Rachel Shamash Schneider, will delve into network-focused grantmaking and how supporting collaboration across organizations can drive systemic change. They will use the Mayberg Foundation’s DEEP Consortium and Jim Joseph Foundation’s Jewish Teen Education and Engagement Funder Collaborative as models for implementing these strategies.
We are proud that two of our colleagues were chosen to lead sessions at this well respected and highly anticipated event—a reflection not only of Amanda’s and Rachel’s deep expertise, but also of the caliber and impact of our team as a whole within the philanthropic community.
