Jewish Day School Education Collaborative Advances with Hiring of JFN Affinity Group Program Manager
/The Mayberg Foundation is excited to share a major milestone in its collaboration with several major funders to advance Jewish day school education: Jewish Funders Network (JFN) has appointed Amy Schlussel as program manager for the new Jewish Day School Affinity Group, thanks to the hard work and partnership that’s grown since our initial session at last year’s conference. What began as an initiative with six other funders has now expanded to 13 partners supporting this important initiative, under the leadership of Rachel Abrahams, our senior advisor for education grants and programs, and UnitEd's Scot Berman.
Amy brings nearly 20 years of experience in strengthening Jewish day schools, most recently serving as director of advancement at Hillel Day School of Metropolitan Detroit, where she led successful efforts in enrollment strategy, fundraising, and innovation. With her leadership, we look forward to deeper collaboration and impact as the Jewish Day School Affinity Group becomes a hub for shared learning, relationships, and strategic support for the future of Jewish education.
