Washington, D.C. — On January 9, 2020 Momentum (formerly the Jewish Women’s Renaissance Project) celebrated its 10th anniversary by honoring its founders called the “Utah 8” including Manette Mayberg, a Trustee of the Mayberg Foundation.

A tribute to Manette Mayberg, as a “Utah 8” founder of Momentum, who has powered and empowered this exceptional movement.

The event brought together Momentum’s donors, sponsors, board members, trip leaders, and staff to reflect back on the 10 years that brought Momentum from 8 women to 18,000 individuals and new levels of success.

“The Momentum movement really nourishes every soul,“ said Manette Mayberg about the power of each individual to make a collective impact on the Jewish world. “Any growth we’re going to experience as a people is going to be accomplished soul by soul. There is no magic making numbers. It is one person at a time.”
