Over the past year, the Maalot Collab, formerly known as the Jewish Outreach Professional Development pilot program and bringing together M54, Olami, Aish, and NCSY, has completed the first serious, evidence-based study of what it actually takes to build a sustainable, skilled, and purposeful career in Jewish outreach. InGathering is where that work moves forward: a small, invitation-only gathering of practitioners and stakeholders who will help shape what the field does with these findings next.

What to Expect

Over a day and a half, participants will move through four working sessions:

• Making sense of the report's findings together

• Examining the forces that have shaped the field and its professionals

• Exploring creative approaches to the challenges the research surfaced

• Developing concrete next steps for the Collaborative

• A clearer picture of the field you work in

• Language for challenges you may have felt but never named

• New frameworks and thinking from a dedicated creative session

• Direct influence over what the Collaborative builds next

• Connection with a small group of people thinking seriously about the same questions

This is a working gathering, not a conference in the traditional sense — space is limited to those whose experience and thinking will help push this work further. Attendees will receive the full findings report in advance.
